SportsI
love playing video games, and sports is the real-life,
physically active equivalent. In order to stay active, I play
different types of sports, including basketball and badminton,
which are the sports that I grew up with. After immigrating to
Canada in 2014, I was introduced to different sports that I
enjoyed just as much, such as Ultimate Frisbee and Volleyball.
Recently,
my friend has introduced me to shooting sports, such as
paintball, airsoft, and lasertag. As a someone who calls
himself a gamer, it was a dream come true to find a sport that
combines the fun of gaming, with the benefits of exercise.
|
ShootingDuring
my time in university, I joined the University of Calgary
Firearms Association. I've always wanted to fire a gun, and it
was exciting to be part of a shooting range and trap shoot
event organized by the school club. Although I was nervous the
first, it definitely helped having a trained member that
taught me how to handle firearms safely and with discipline,
from small handguns to larger rifles and shotguns.

Video GamesVideo
games have been a big part of my life. I grew up with Super
Mario World on the SNES, and have played it multiple times,
both with and without a memory card to save my progress. Now,
thanks to the internet, I am able to engage in social
activities with my friends and meeting new people online
without any physical contact. Playing games of different
genres, such as FPS, platformers, and party games.
